The summer festival of Rougegoutte, a 4-flower floral village in the Territoire de Belfort
Rougegoutte (90200) is one of the most picturesque villages in the Territoire de Belfort, proud of its "4 Flowers Village" label achieved thanks to the commitment of its residents to beautify and maintain their living environment. Nestled in the Belfort Vosges, this village hosts its annual municipal festival every summer, a moment of celebration and collective pride for the people of Rougegoutte.
The Fête de Rougegoutte offers a varied entertainment program that delights young and old alike. The afternoon is dedicated to outdoor games and activities for children, with pétanque tournaments open to all, sports activities, and fairground games. The refreshment stand, run by volunteers from the festival committee and local associations, creates a warm meeting point in the heart of the village.
In addition to its summer festival, Rougegoutte is known for its Saint-Nicolas Festival, celebrated in December. This winter event brings families together for gift distribution to children, followed by hot chocolate served at the town hall and sales of mulled wine, crepes, and flambéed tarts under the school's covered area. This winter tradition complements the village's festive calendar.
The summer festival includes a countryside meal prepared by volunteers, featuring regional flavors. Served outdoors in this village renowned for its flowers and decorations, this meal takes on a special dimension. The beauty of Rougegoutte's floral setting, with its well-tended flowerbeds and gardens, gives the festival a unique atmosphere found nowhere else in the Territoire de Belfort.
Rougegoutte's "4 Flowers" label is a symbol of a village that cares for its living environment and cherishes its rural identity. The annual festival is a natural extension of this mindset: care taken in organization, dedicated volunteers, warm welcome to visitors. Rougegoutte is also a member of the Communauté de Communes des Vosges du Sud, which brings together the rural communes of the Belfort Vosges in a spirit of territorial solidarity.
La Fête Champêtre de Rougegoutte, a major summer event in this flower-filled village (4 flowers) in the Territoire de Belfort, is held annually on the weekend preceding July 14th at the Leisure Zone. Organized by the Festival Committee with the municipality, it gathers nearly 2,000 people around a country meal, an open-air dance, and a large fireworks display launched over the ponds.
La Fête Champêtre de Rougegoutte 2026 will take place at the Leisure Zone (about ten hectares with ponds, sports areas, and picnic areas), as every year on the weekend preceding July 14th. The evening begins in the late afternoon with on-site catering and refreshments, demonstrations and entertainment, continues with a country meal in the evening and an open-air dance, and concludes with a large musical fireworks display launched from the bank of the ponds. Free access.
The exact date and detailed program for the 2026 edition are to be confirmed with the Rougegoutte town hall closer to summer (recent editions have taken place on the Saturday preceding July 14th).
