About Saint-Paul-de-Vence Mountain Festival
Since 2014, Saint-Paul-de-Vence has dedicated three days in November to the mountains. The Festi'Sports de Montagne association, founded in 2012, organizes this event in partnership with the local municipality. The program features mountaineering film screenings, meet-and-greets with climbers and elite athletes, and introductory workshops for mountain sports like rock climbing, zip-lining, and rappelling. The weekend traditionally concludes with a giant tartiflette served on the auditorium's rooftop terrace.
Saint-Paul-de-Vence Mountain Festival — edition 2026
The 13th edition, "Par monts et par elles", brings together mountaineers, athletes, and the public from November 20th to 22nd to celebrate the mountains. Enjoy two evenings of adventure films featuring Patagonia, Pakistan, and the Hexatrek, followed by a Sunday of free-access workshops including a giant zip line and rappelling on the ramparts.

Three films: Cerro Torre, en Patagonie sur la voie Ferrari with Benjamin Guigonnet and Fred Degoulet; Chimères patagones, women's mountaineering on Cerro Torre, with Lise Billon, Fanny Schmutz, and Maud Vanpoulle; The Queen Swing, two mountaineers facing the Triple Crown, with Kate Kelleghan and Laura Pineau. Sunday, November 22nd, 2026
- 10:30 AM–4:30 PM — "Mountain Challenges" activities and workshops · Place Charles de Gaulle and Place de la Courtine: giant zip line, rappelling down the ramparts, climbing wall and bouldering, slackline, mountain rescue and first aid demonstrations, escape game, mountain discovery quiz, plant and crystal workshops, mountain-themed stands, on-site catering. Free access.
In partnership with Handisports 06, the festival makes mountain activities accessible to people with disabilities; a qualified guide will be present at the workshops throughout the day on Sunday. Free public parking on November 21st and 22nd. Program published by the Saint-Paul de Vence Tourist Office.
