Saint-Paul Soul Funk Festival 2026

The 21st edition of the Saint-Paul Soul Funk Festival takes place from July 9 to 12, 2026 in Saint-Paul-Trois-Châteaux, in the heart of the Drôme provençale. Organized by the Émergence association, this independent festival, run by passionate volunteers, focuses on discovering demanding artists from the international soul, funk, and acid jazz scene.

Concerts take place outdoors, at Place du Marché and Place Castellane, in the historic city center. The opening night on Thursday, July 9, is free; the following three evenings (Friday, Saturday, Sunday) are paid.

• The Pulitzers (Hammond funk)
• Acantha Lang (soul funk) — singer from New Orleans, revealed by her album Beautiful Dreams and nominated for Grammy Awards, accompanied by 7 musicians

Saturday, July 11 — Place Castellane

• Cookin' on 3 Burners (Hammond funk) — Australian band, famous for This Girl covered by Kungs; unique French date
• Young Gun Silver Fox (yacht rock)

Sunday, July 12 — Place Castellane

• Jake Mason + The Horns Syndicate (Hammond funk)
• Count Basic (acid jazz) — Austrian collective, a figure of acid jazz since the 1990s, accompanied by 10 musicians

Paid evenings from July 10 to 12: ticket office opens at 7 PM, doors open at 8 PM, concerts start from 9 PM.
