A Literary Event in the Heart of Barrois

The Salon du Livre et des Auteurs d'Arc-en-Barrois was born from the desire of the Amicale arcquoise, in partnership with the municipal media library, to create a literary gathering in this picturesque commune of Haute-Marne. Nestled in the heart of the Arc-en-Barrois forest, one of the largest forest areas in France, this fair offers a unique setting to celebrate books and reading.

A Rich and Varied Program

The fair unfolds over two days filled with activities for all ages. Visitors can meet renowned authors and illustrators, attend signing sessions, and participate in numerous creative workshops. Storytime delights the youngest, while Pop-up workshops and collaborative murals stimulate children's creativity. Adults are not left out with paper poetry workshops, readings, and slam sessions led by writers from the Association des écrivains haut-marnais.

Showcasing Regional Talents

This fair gives pride of place to authors and artists from Haute-Marne and the Grand Est region. Members of the Association des écrivains haut-marnais are present to share their works, interact with readers, and offer literary activities. Illustrators and photographers complete this program with exhibitions highlighting the landscapes and heritage of Haute-Marne.

A Place for Exchange and Sharing

True to the associative spirit of the Amicale arcquoise, the fair aims to be a space for friendliness and sharing. Admission is free, allowing everyone to discover the richness of local literary production. The exchanges between authors and readers, in a warm and intimate atmosphere, make this event a special moment in Arc-en-Barrois' cultural life.

Activities for All Audiences

The program skillfully blends activities for children — storytimes, Pop-up workshops, coloring murals, fun dictation games — and offerings for adults — paper poetry workshops, readings, slam, photographic exhibitions. This diversity makes the Salon du Livre d'Arc-en-Barrois a truly family-friendly event, where every visitor finds something to marvel at and enrich themselves.

Salon du Livre d'Arc-en-Barrois — edition 2027
