Sens Christmas Market 2026: A Date in December

For the 2026 edition, the Sens Christmas Market will once again take over the Place de la République and the covered market for three days of winter festivities. Organized by the City of Sens, this free market brings together about fifty exhibitors each year — artisans, creators, and local producers — in an exceptional historic setting, at the foot of the Saint-Étienne Cathedral.

Visitors can stroll among the illuminated wooden chalets in search of original gifts: handmade jewelry, Christmas decorations, decorative objects, textile creations, artisanal toys, and many other surprises. The covered market will host Burgundian producers with their specialties: cheeses, foie gras, honey, biscuits, charcuterie, and wines from Burgundy and Chablis.

The scents of mulled wine, gingerbread, and hot chestnuts will welcome strollers, while family activities and the presence of Santa Claus will make this market an unmissable event for families from the Yonne and the entire region.
