Sologne Nature Image

The Salbris nature photo festival in 2026

Created in 2021, the Sologne Nature Image Festival has established itself in a few years as one of the main events for nature and wildlife photography in the Centre-Val de Loire. For its 6^th edition, from September 11 to 13, 2026, it brings together in Salbris around sixty photographers (professionals and amateurs), an animal sculptor, and several nature conservation associations, in the rooms of La Cotonnerie and in the town center.

Beyond the exhibitions, the event aims to raise awareness about the preservation of nature and biodiversity, with an educational component involving classes and schools from the region. The complete list of exhibiting photographers and associations was unveiled by the organization in March 2026.

Conferences 2026

Two conferences are announced for this edition:

• "Encounter with Mountain Gorillas" — presented by Annick Bompays.
• "Wapusik, Polar Bears" — presented by Dorota and Bruno Sénéchal.

2026 Edition (September 11 to 13)

• Exhibitions by around sixty nature and wildlife photographers, professionals and amateurs (France and Belgium), spread across the rooms of La Cotonnerie and Salbris town center.
• Presence of an animal sculptor and several naturalist associations.
• Educational component with classes and schools from the region.
