Edition 2026 — Souillac en Jazz
50th anniversary edition of the Souillac en Jazz - Sim Copans festival. Nine days of festivities to celebrate half a century of jazz in Souillac with Youn Sun Nah, Bojan Z, Erik Truffaz, Émile Parisien, Louise Jallu, and the Swing Machine Big Band.
50th edition: half a century of jazz in Souillac
The Souillac en Jazz festival celebrates its 50th anniversary from July 17 to 25, 2026, an exceptional edition extended to nine days of festivities to mark this historic milestone.
Festival In Program
- Wednesday, July 22 (free): Swing Machine Big Band featuring Gilda Solve
- Thursday, July 23: Émile Parisien (soprano saxophone) presents the "Floating" project with Yaron Herman (piano), Linda May Han Oh (double bass), and Prabhu Edouard (tabla)
- Friday, July 24: Brady Duo (cello) followed by Youn Sun Nah (vocals) and Bojan Z (piano)
- Saturday, July 25: Erik Truffaz (trumpet) and Antonio Lizana (saxophone, vocals) present "New Sketches of Spain"
Highlights
The 2026 edition also features open stages and showcases from July 20 to 22, free concerts in the streets and parks of Souillac, relocated concerts in Calès, Pinsac, and the Lacave caves, film screenings, and exhibitions. A preparatory event, *Thelonious Monk, sculptor of silence*, was held on April 12, 2026.
Ticketing
Evening concerts at Place Pierre Betz at 9:15 PM. Full price: 25 to 30 euros. Reduced price: 15 euros (students, 12-21 years old). Concert on July 22 is free. Online ticketing on Festik.
