2025 Edition
The 2025 season of Vent des Forêts ran from March 1st to September 30th, with the official inauguration of new works in mid-July in Lahaymeix. Seven artists in residence created new pieces integrated into the forest trails, bringing the number of visible works on the routes to over 150.
Among the invited artists were Vincent Cardoso, who created two monumental intertwined sculptures in partnership with the Casa de Velázquez in Madrid; Léon Binetruy, whose work integrates an oak tree and three log hives for wild bee colonies; Kokou Ferdinand Makouvia, a Togolese artist, with an installation of 36 oak beams topped with aluminum; and Masami, whose wire sculptures incorporate recycled cable materials.
