In just a few editions, the Village Gourmand and the Moselle Wine Festival has become an unmissable gastronomic event in Metz. Organized on Place de la République and the Esplanade Garden, this event showcases the Moselle terroir and the culinary expertise of the Grand Est region.

The Moselle Wine Festival highlights the winegrowers of the AOC Moselle and cross-border wine producers:

  • 23 winegrower stands, including 16 from AOC Moselle domains
  • Producers from Luxembourg, Germany, and the Toulois region

Access

Location

Place de la République and Jardin de l'Esplanade, 57000 Metz. Food stands are located on Place de la République, and wine stands are in the Esplanade Garden.

By car

Underground parking nearby: parking République, parking Cathédrale, and parking Saint-Jacques. Metz is accessible via the A31 from Nancy and Luxembourg, and via the A4 from Paris and Strasbourg.

By train

Metz-Ville station served by TGV from Paris-Est (1h25), TER from Nancy (35 min), Strasbourg (1h20), and Luxembourg (50 min). Place de la République is a 10-minute walk from the station.

By bus and Mettis

Le Met' network, stop « République » served by Mettis and several bus lines.

Prices and operation

Free entry. Consumables are purchased with consumption tickets at 2.50 euros each, sold in books of 10 (25 euros). Tickets are the only accepted currency throughout the gourmet village. The engraved tasting glass, allowing access to wine tastings, is sold for 10 euros.
