About À chacun son doc

Every autumn, "À chacun son doc" brings together a series of documentary film screenings for a single day at the Aurec-sur-Loire cinema. The event is organized by the Université pour tous and Les Amis du Vieil Aurec, with support from the Les Mots Passants community library and AureCinéma, and partial funding from the local town hall. Screenings run throughout the afternoon and evening, covering topics ranging from social reportage to travelogues, and are often followed by a Q&A session with the audience.

The schedule of films to be screened on October 3, 2026, has not yet been released by the organizers; it will be added as soon as it becomes available.

The festival consists of a full day of screenings at AureCinéma, located on Place des Hêtres. Depending on the year, three to five documentaries are shown between morning and evening, covering diverse themes such as travel, portraiture, society, and nature. Tickets can be purchased for individual sessions or as a full-day pass at a reduced rate.

The event celebrates its 8th edition in 2026; the 4th edition took place on October 1st, 2022, and the 7th in October 2025. It is organized by the Université pour tous and Les Amis du Vieil Aurec, in partnership with the Les Mots Passants library and AureCinéma, and receives financial support from the municipality.
