The most fun obstacle race in the Ardennes

Ardenn'K-Naille is a unique sports and fun event in the Ardennes, designed specifically for children and teenagers aged 5 to 17. Organized by the Departmental Council of the Ardennes, this obstacle race takes place every year in June around the Lac des Vieilles-Forges, in the town of Les Mazures, in the heart of the Regional Natural Park of the Ardennes. The event transforms the leisure center into a gigantic adventure course where young participants face obstacles that are as creative as they are spectacular.

Three courses adapted to each age

Ardenn'K-Naille offers three courses with difficulty levels adapted to the age of the participants:

• Little Adventurers Course (5-6 years old): a short and safe circuit with obstacles adapted for the youngest, including inflatable structures, crawling passages, and sensory games.
• Explorers Course (7-12 years old): an intermediate course combining slides, climbing walls, tunnels, and water games, with stimulating but accessible physical challenges.
• Adventurers Course (13-17 years old): the most demanding course, with technical obstacles, agility tests, giant inflatable structures, and water crossings along the lake.

An exceptional natural setting

The Lac des Vieilles-Forges offers a remarkable natural setting for this event. Nestled in the heart of the Ardennes forest, this 150-hectare reservoir lake is one of the most popular leisure sites in the department. The Ardenn'K-Naille courses make full use of this setting: participants cross wooded areas, walk along the lake shores, overcome water obstacles, and discover the legendary world of ElfyPark, the fairy-tale theme park located on the site. The Ardennes Terre d'Aventures acrobatic park is also integrated into the course, offering high-altitude challenges among the trees.

A unifying event for the youth of the Ardennes

Since its creation, Ardenn'K-Naille has brought together between 1,000 and 2,000 participants at each edition. The event is free for participants, making it accessible to all families in the department. Beyond the competition, Ardenn'K-Naille is above all a celebration: musical entertainment, catering stands, relaxation areas for parents, and a festive atmosphere accompany the races throughout the day. The Departmental Council sees it as a tool for promoting physical activity among young people and enhancing the natural heritage of the Ardennes.

An adventure that grows every year

Born in 2017 with a first edition at the Sedan fortress, Ardenn'K-Naille later moved to the Lac des Vieilles-Forges site to offer an even more spectacular course in the heart of nature. The event is part of the sports and youth policy of the Departmental Council of the Ardennes, which multiplies initiatives to boost the region and offer young people in the Ardennes memorable experiences. With its 25 quirky obstacles, its fairy-tale decorations, and its good-natured atmosphere, Ardenn'K-Naille has become a must-attend event on the Ardennes summer calendar.
