8th Edition — Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, 2026
The Back Home Festival returns for its 8th edition on Friday, June 12 and Saturday, June 13, 2026 in the village of La Baconnière, in the heart of Mayenne. True to its recipe since 2018 — an ultra-friendly atmosphere, audacious programming, a rural and festive setting until the end of the night — the event organized by the BHF Club association and its hundred volunteers offers two evenings of contemporary and electronic music on two stages.
An Eclectic Program Over Two Days
The 8th edition embraces an eclectic artistic direction designed to surprise and bring people together, featuring rap, electro, oriental rock, and hybrid universes. Ten artists are confirmed for the program:
- Friday, June 12 — 2L (rap), Titouan L.C.S, Roni, Lovana, and Nagä: an opening night mixing rap, electro, and hybrid universes.
- Saturday, June 13 — C-ROM (melodic rap), Sarāb (oriental rock), Roland Cristal (techno), Tallou, and Nord//Noir: a second evening with a varied sound palette, between electronic textures and unique identities.
Tournaments, Local Food, and Village Atmosphere
As every year, the weekend will be punctuated by numerous activities in La Baconnière: pétanque and palets tournaments, bingo, rides and games for all ages, makeup stands, food trucks, and local catering. The festival cultivates conviviality and proximity between the public and artists in a rural setting fifteen minutes from Laval. Tickets are available on the official website and on Shotgun, with free entry for children under 10.

Back Home Festival: When Mayenne's Youth Celebrates Their Homecoming
Born in 2018 from the desire of a group of childhood friends from La Baconnière, the Back Home Festival carries its philosophy in its very name: 'return home'. These young people from Mayenne, who left to study or work elsewhere, chose to return to their native village to create a cultural event in their image. United within the BHF Club association, they are now a hundred volunteers involved in organizing this festival which, in just a few editions, has become a major event on the Mayenne music scene.
An Eclectic Program Between Contemporary and Electronic Music
Back Home Festival stands out for its deliberately eclectic and bold programming, designed for discovery and genre mixing. Two stages structure the event: one is dedicated to contemporary music — rap, rock, pop, indie, punk — and the other to electronic music — techno, house, DJ sets. Each edition highlights the talents of today and tomorrow, from emerging artists to confirmed headliners. Over the years, the festival has hosted names like Fakear, Chill Bump, Nusky & Vaati, Petit Voyou, and I AM FEZ, demonstrating a keen eye for successful programming.
A Countryside Setting and a Unique Atmosphere
What makes Back Home Festival unique is its countryside setting in the heart of the village of La Baconnière, just fifteen minutes from Laval and an hour from Rennes or Le Mans. The festival site, set up outdoors, offers a green and intimate space where the proximity between the audience and the artists creates a warm and authentic atmosphere. The artisanal decoration, entirely created by volunteers, gives the venue a unique visual identity, both refined and quirky.
Beyond the music, the weekend is filled with numerous activities: pétanque and palet tournaments, bingo, fairground rides, and games of all kinds. The catering, local and homemade, completes this festive experience where every detail is designed to make the audience feel truly 'at home'.
A Local, Responsible, and Accessible Festival
Back Home Festival champions values of accessibility and responsibility. Prices are deliberately kept low to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the event, with free admission for children. The festival is committed to a local approach, collaborating with local businesses and producers and involving the residents of La Baconnière and neighboring towns. Driven by the passion and energy of its volunteer organizers, Back Home Festival embodies a vision of accessible, friendly culture deeply rooted in its Mayenne terroir.
