Created in 2025 by the M'Danse Bourg studio, the Bourg Latino Festival is the first festival entirely dedicated to Latin dances in Bourg-en-Bresse. This immersive weekend offers salsa, bachata and kizomba enthusiasts an intense programme of workshops, dance parties and social gatherings in a warm and festive atmosphere.
The festival offers 18 hours of workshops spread over the weekend, led by fifteen renowned instructors from across France and Europe. Past instructors include: Paola (Spain), Jennifer Barret (Lyon), Patrice and Chloé (Dijon), Fabrice (Oyonnax), Johnny and Marianne (Bourg-en-Bresse), along with many other artists. Classes are open to all levels, from complete beginners to advanced dancers, with groups tailored for optimal progression.
The festival unfolds across two separate rooms within Studio M'Danse, each offering a different musical atmosphere. The parties are hosted by DJ Elson and DJ Oscar (Lyon), who alternate styles to keep the dance floor buzzing late into the night. Cuban salsa, Puerto Rican salsa, sensual or Dominican bachata, kizomba: every dancer finds their groove.
Following the success of its first edition in January 2025, the Bourg Latino Festival quickly built a loyal audience and has established itself as a major fixture on the Latin scene of south-eastern France. The second edition, planned for January-February 2026, promises to be even more ambitious with more instructors and extended parties.
