The meeting place for craft beer lovers in Seine-et-Marne
The Chelles Craft Beer Festival is an annual event dedicated to French and international craft beer. Organized by the Rotary Club of Chelles Marne et Chantereine, this festival brings together about fifteen craft brewers every first weekend of May for tastings, meetings with producers, and musical and festive entertainment. Since its creation in 2019, the festival has established itself as the main brewing event in eastern Île-de-France, attracting hop and malt enthusiasts in a friendly and gourmet atmosphere.
Born in 2019 on the initiative of the Rotary Club of Chelles Marne et Chantereine, the Chelles Craft Beer Festival quickly established itself as an unmissable event for craft beer lovers in Île-de-France. The event combines taste pleasure and solidarity, as the profits are donated to the charitable actions of the Rotary Club.
Each edition brings together about fifteen craft brewers from all over France and sometimes beyond. Visitors can discover and taste a wide range of beers: IPA, stout, white, amber, triple, sour, bière de garde, and many other styles. The brewers are present at their stands to explain their production methods, their choices of hops and malts, and to share their passion for artisanal brewing.
Beyond tastings, the festival offers a festive program with live concerts and musical entertainment that create a warm and friendly atmosphere. Food trucks complete the gastronomic offer with dishes suitable for pairing with beer: charcuterie boards, burgers, cheeses, and other delicacies.
The Chelles Craft Beer Festival stands out for its charitable dimension. Organized by the Rotary Club, the profits from the event are entirely donated to the solidarity actions carried out by the club: support for local associations, aid to people in difficulty, educational and humanitarian projects. Every glass tasted thus contributes to a solidarity cause.
The second largest city in Seine-et-Marne with over 55,000 inhabitants, Chelles is located just 20 km east of Paris, easily accessible by RER E or Transilien P. The festival is held in a central area of the city, allowing visitors to combine beer discovery with a visit to this town with a rich historical heritage, from the Merovingian abbey to the Alfred-Bonno museum.
The 7th edition of the Chelles Craft Beer Festival will be held on the first weekend of May 2026. Tastings of craft beers, meetings with brewers, musical entertainment, and food trucks are on the program for this solidarity festival organized by the Rotary Club.
