Demen: Techno takes over Laval

Demen is an electronic music night born from the initiative of the Student Office of ESTACA Laval, an engineering school specializing in transport. What started as a student party has transformed over the editions into a true cultural event, attracting well beyond the student audience alone.

Demen stands out for the quality of its scenography and technical staging. Each edition offers a renewed visual and sound universe:

Artists from the European Techno Scene

Demen's programming features essential artists from the European techno scene. The ESTACA Student Office selects DJs and producers renowned for their stage energy and their ability to make the crowd move. The diversity of styles — techno, hard techno, minimal, acid — guarantees a night rich in musical emotions.

An Event Rooted at 6PAR4

Demen is hosted at 6PAR4, Laval's Scène de Musiques Actuelles (Contemporary Music Venue) labeled SMAC by the Ministry of Culture. This 330-seat venue, located in the city center, offers an intimate setting and ideal acoustics for electronic music. The event is strictly for adults (an ID is required at the entrance).

From Student Party to Cultural Event

Since its creation, Demen has continuously grown. The increasing quality of the programming and production has allowed the event to establish itself as a must-attend gathering for electronic music enthusiasts in Mayenne and the Grand Ouest region.
