For its 25th edition, the Détours de Chant festival celebrated a quarter-century of song from January 24 to February 7, 2026, in Toulouse and six surrounding towns (Haute-Garonne). Over 13 days, more than 40 artists performed in 17 emblematic venues of the Toulouse metropolis : Le Bijou, La Cave Poésie, le Théâtre du Pavé, le Théâtre du Grand Rond, Les Mazades, Le Metronum, Le Bikini, and L'Escale in Tournefeuille.
True to its spirit of proximity and cultural exchange, the program fostered dialogue between languages — French, Occitan, Spanish, Arabic — in a mosaic of styles blending poetry, commitment, and celebration. The festival supports both established creation and emerging talent, notably through its "Coups de pousses" discovery program and opening acts entrusted to regional artists.
The kickoff was given on Saturday, January 24, at L'Escale de Tournefeuille with Babx and his quartet "Amour Colosse". The next edition, the 26th, is announced for January 26 to February 6, 2027.
Headliners of the 2026 edition : Bertrand Belin, CharlÉlie Couture, La Grande Sophie, Babx, Lo'Jo, Bachar Mar-Khalifé, Arman Méliès, Jean Guidoni, Chloé Lacan, Emma la clown, as well as numerous regional and emerging artists spread across 17 venues in and around Toulouse.
