Les Internationales de la — edition 2026
The 31st edition of the Internationales de la Guitare festival takes place from September 20th to October 18th, 2026, in Montpellier, the Hérault department, and across the Occitanie region. The festival features around 100 concerts and events, including eighteen ticketed performances in venues throughout the city and region, a free OFF festival from September 21st to 25th, the 24h Dément(es) marathon on September 26th and 27th, and the International Guitar Show in Toulouse on October 17th and 18th.
2026 Edition
The 31st edition runs from September 20th to October 18th, 2026. Concerts will be held in Montpellier and its metropolitan area, as well as in Lunel, Lattes, Prades-le-Lez, Le Crès, Assas, Saint-Clément-de-Rivière, Saint-Gély-du-Fesc, Mireval, La Grande-Motte, and Sérignan. The International Guitar Show will take place in Toulouse.
Yamandu Costa is this year's guest artist. He will have a "carte blanche" performance on October 7th at the Opéra Comédie, joined by Antoine Boyer, Thibault Cauvin, and Vera Danilina. Angélique Kidjo will close the festival on October 11th at the Opéra Berlioz, featuring tracks from her album HOPE!!.
Three segments of the festival are free. The OFF festival, from September 21st to 25th, will be hosted by local Montpellier partners: the Roda de Choro at Place des Beaux-Arts, the Azema Musique store, the Invader bar, the Ground Zero record shop, the Restanque community space, and the 1000 Formes art center. The 24h Dément(es) marathon, on September 26th and 27th, features twelve events with an all-female lineup in historic city-center venues. The International Guitar Show brings together 100 luthier exhibitors on October 17th and 18th at La Cité in Toulouse, with free admission.
Tickets have been on sale since June 5th, 2026. They can be purchased online or at the festival office, located at 4 rue de l'Ancien Courrier in Montpellier.

Ticketing
Tickets are available online via the festival's website, or in person at the festival office and the Montpellier Méditerranée Métropole Tourist Office, 30 allée Jean de Lattre de Tassigny, open 7 days a week from 10 am to 6 pm. Concessions
Reduced rates are available for job seekers, RSA beneficiaries, non-taxable retirees, students, those under 16, Festicar carpoolers, and people with reduced mobility, upon presentation of valid proof and subject to availability. The festival also offers special rates for works councils, national education staff, groups of 10 or more, and members of cultural associations. As a Crous partner, the festival provides tickets via the Yoot pass for students of the Montpellier academy. Membership in the Confluences association entitles you to a reduced rate on all concerts.

Carpooling

Accessibility and Safety
All festival concert venues are equipped with wheelchair access and dedicated seating for people with disabilities. Upon request, a civic service volunteer or staff member can assist you at the concert entrance. As sound levels may be high at some performances, the festival recommends using earplugs and keeping a distance from the speakers.
