About Toulouse Métropole Run
The Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience (formerly Toulouse Marathon) is one of the biggest running events in the South-West. Every autumn, over 30,000 runners set off through the streets of the Pink City in five formats: marathon, half-marathon, 10 km, marathon relay, and children's races.
Organized by Playground Event with Harmonie Mutuelle as the main partner, the event passes through iconic Toulouse sites: Place du Capitole, Jardin des Plantes, Île du Ramier, banks of the Garonne, Piste des Géants, Cité de l'Espace, Pont Neuf. A race village will be held from October 29th to 31st, 2026, for bib collection and numerous activities.

On Sunday, November 1st, 2026, the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience brings together over 30,000 runners in Toulouse across five formats: marathon, half-marathon, 10 km, relay marathon, and children's races. The marathon starts at 8:00 AM from Allées François Verdier, finishing at Boulevard d'Arcole.
A unique race day in the Pink City
The 2026 edition of the Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience takes place on Sunday, November 1st, 2026, with a race village open from Thursday, October 29th at Place du Capitole. Five formats are offered: Marathon des Géants (42.195 km), Semi-Marathon de la Garonne (21.1 km — full for 2026), 10 km du Capitole, Marathon Relais des Pionniers de l'Aéropostale (teams of 4 to 6), and Course des P'tits Rex for children.
An iconic route
Both the marathon and half-marathon start from Allées François Verdier and pass through Toulouse's essential sites: Jardin des Plantes, Île du Ramier, banks of the Garonne, Pont des Catalans, Piste des Géants (a straight line of over 7 km), Cité de l'Espace, Oncopole, Pont Neuf, with a finish at Boulevard d'Arcole. A flat course (130 m of positive elevation gain on the marathon).

Refreshment stations every 5 km with reusable cups, pacers in each start wave, free baggage check (20 L max), numerous activities at the race village.

The Toulouse Métropole Run Experience, now named Harmonie Mutuelle Toulouse Métropole Run Experience, has become in just a few editions one of France's biggest running events, with over 30,000 participants expected and nearly 800 volunteers mobilized. The event takes place on a single day, Sunday, November 1st, 2026, and offers several formats adapted to all levels.
Five Race Formats
- The Marathon des Géants — 42.195 km, start 8:00 AM, flat course (130 m positive elevation gain), 7,500 runners maximum.
- The Semi-Marathon de la Garonne — 21.1 km, start 9:45 AM, 17,000 runners (event full in 2026).
- The 10 km du Capitole — accessible from 16 years old.
- The Marathon Relais des Pionniers de l'Aéropostale — teams of 4 to 6 runners on the marathon course.
- The Course des P'tits Rex — children's races on Saturday, October 31st, from 2:00 PM, at the Prairie des Filtres.
A Course in the Heart of the Pink City
Both the marathon and half-marathon courses start from Allées François Verdier in the city center and wind through Toulouse's iconic locations: Place du Capitole, Jardin des Plantes, Île du Ramier, banks of the Garonne, Pont des Catalans, Passerelle Robert Poujade. Marathon runners then take the famous Piste des Géants — a straight line of over 7 km — then cross the Cité de l'Espace and the Oncopole, before a final return via Rue de Metz, Pont Neuf, and a spectacular finish on Boulevard d'Arcole.
A Committed Event
Refreshments are available every 5 km with reusable cups (zero plastic). Pacemakers accompany runners in each starting pen. Free baggage storage (20 L max) is provided. The time limit is 6 hours for the marathon and 3 hours for the half-marathon.
