Marionnettissimo in Tournefeuille
Marionnettissimo is an unmissable event for puppet arts and animated forms in Haute-Garonne, Occitanie. Created in 1990 by puppeteers Marina Montefusco, Rosetta Arcuri, and Jean Kaplan, the festival is run by the Marionnettissimo association, dedicated to promoting contemporary puppet theatre.
An international festival rooted in Tournefeuille
Initially biennial then annual from 2006, the festival settled in Tournefeuille where it extends its influence throughout the Haute-Garonne territory (Toulouse and numerous partner communes). It fully contributes to the cultural attractiveness of the Occitanie region.
Program and activities
Each edition offers shows for all audiences, professional creations, workshops, exhibitions, meetings with artists, and festive moments. The complete program is announced each year on the festival's official channels, in partnership with L'Escale - Ville de Tournefeuille.

Marionnettissimo 2026 — 29th edition
The 29th edition of the Marionnettissimo festival takes place from November 17 to 22, 2026 in Tournefeuille, Toulouse and several communes in Haute-Garonne. An international event dedicated to puppet arts and contemporary animated forms, the festival offers shows for all audiences, professional creations, workshops, exhibitions, meetings, and festive moments.
Organized by the Marionnettissimo association in partnership with L'Escale - Ville de Tournefeuille, the event extends throughout the territory thanks to a network of partner cities (Toulouse, Auzielle, Blagnac, Castanet-Tolosan, Labarthe-sur-Lèze, Launaguet, Martres-Tolosane, Mondonville, Poucharramet, Villeneuve-Tolosane).
