Montpellier Christmas Market — 2026 Edition
Organised by the City of Montpellier, the Montpellier Christmas Market will be held at the end of 2026, from November 27 to December 30, 2026 (provisional dates, to be confirmed by the organiser), on Place Royale du Peyrou, in Montpellier in Hérault.
Each year, the market brings together nearly a hundred chalets: creators and artisans (jewellery, decorations, wooden toys, cosmetics, art objects), producers of savoury and sweet specialities, mulled wine, and treats. Admission is free.
Numerous activities punctuate the period: meetings with Santa Claus, creative workshops for children, carousels, festive evenings, parades, and illuminations in the city centre. Accessible via tramway line 4 (Peyrou – Arc de Triomphe stop) as well as by city buses. The market is located in the heart of the historic center, near Place de la Comédie.
Hours
Market open daily, generally from 10:30 AM to 9:30 PM, with late openings on Fridays and Saturdays. Adjusted hours on December 24th and 25th. Consult official channels for the current edition's hours.
