The Pézenas Christmas Market
The Christmas Market is a key feature of "Nadal à Pézenas," the Occitan Christmas festival organized by the City of Pézenas. Throughout December, the historic center comes alive with a Christmas market featuring local artisans and designers, gourmet treats and a food court, wooden games and workshops, live music, a Christmas parade, festive lights, and a sound and light show. The market itself is traditionally held on a Sunday in mid-December, winding through the town's historic streets.
In recent years, the market took place on Sunday, December 15, 2024, and Sunday, December 14, 2025 (10 am – 7 pm). These were preceded by a grand Christmas parade the day before (December 13, 2025, at 5:30 pm) and followed by a month of festivities, including the Pégoulada e Cacha Fuoc, Scènoël (a sound and light show projected onto the town hall facade), and stilt-walker parades.
