Most exhibitions, activities, and meetings are freely accessible; admission to Hall Comminges (publishers' area) is €3, free for those under 18, students, and holders of the Pastel-Tisséo card.
Colomiers Comics Festival — 2026 Edition
The 40th edition of the Colomiers Comics Festival will be held from November 20 to 22, 2026, at the Hall Comminges in Colomiers (Haute-Garonne). Organized by the City of Colomiers since 1987, this event dedicated to contemporary and independent comics brings together around sixty publishers and over 150 authors each year.
In 2025, more than 20,500 visitors attended the festival, a record that often places it second only to Angoulême among French comics festivals in terms of sales revenue for participating publishers. In 2024, the festival was honored with the SOFIA Literary Action Prize in the "Commitment" category.
The festival highlights independent publishing and emerging talent: artist residencies for recent graduates, the "Prix Toute Première Fois" with a €1,500 award for a debut work, a young talent competition, and a high school comics prize organized with the Toulouse Academy. It also places special emphasis on gender equality in its programming and reducing its environmental impact (sustainable transport, plant-based and local catering, and reusing set materials).
