The 3rd edition of Hors Cadre - Festival Photo Béziers will take place from October 8 to November 1, 2026, in Béziers, Hérault. For almost a month, photography will take over the city through a free-access exhibition trail, in galleries, museums, theaters, artists' studios, and other cultural or heritage sites.
Hors Cadre - Festival Photo Béziers — 2026 Edition
The 3rd edition of Hors Cadre - Festival Photo Béziers runs from October 8 to November 1, 2026. An independent event supported by local cultural actors, it transforms Béziers into an open-air gallery: the public is invited to explore the city to discover the worlds of amateur and professional photographers in about twenty locations in the historic center and its periphery.
The program is structured around two parts: an "expo" section reserved for professional photographers, exhibited in galleries, studios, associative spaces, and hybrid venues, and an amateur competition open to photographers from Occitanie, with about fifteen winners presented in a third-place venue in the heart of the historic center. The previous edition attracted over 10,000 visits.

Hors Cadre - Béziers Photography Festival
The Hors Cadre festival is organized by the Hors Cadre - Festival Béziers Images association, established in June 2024. Its inaugural edition took place from October 10th to 31st, 2024, in Béziers, featuring 25 photographers across 17 city venues and drawing nearly 10,000 visitors.
Each edition sees around twenty urban and suburban locations in Béziers—including galleries, artist studios, cultural associations, and heritage sites—hosting exhibitions by approximately thirty professional photographers. The festival also features a competition open to amateur photographers from Occitanie, with winners showcased in a community hub in the historic center, alongside a "Focus" selection dedicated to regional talent.
Admission to all exhibitions is free.
