Champagne Day is an exceptional gastronomic event that takes place every October at the Hôtel de Ville in Épernay. Organized by the Épernay Champagne Tourist Office, this exclusive evening features a masterclass led by Michelin-starred chefs and personalities from the world of gastronomy. It's an opportunity to celebrate Champagne in all its diversity, right in the heart of its production region.

A masterclass led by exceptional chefs

The masterclass is the heart of the event. Two Meilleur Ouvrier de France (MOF) and Michelin-starred chefs welcome participants for a unique sensory experience. Philippe Mille, Michelin-starred chef at M Réceptions, and other renowned French gastronomy figures create exceptional food and champagne pairings. Guests will taste eight exceptional vintages from the entire AOC Champagne appellation, accompanied by gourmet bites specially designed to enhance each wine.

Champagne Day is part of a global movement to celebrate Champagne, held on the fourth Friday of October. Épernay, as the historic capital of Champagne, naturally embodies the spirit of this day dedicated to the world's most famous wine. The event pays tribute to the Champagne terroir, the winemakers, and the Champagne houses that perpetuate centuries-old savoir-faire.

The Hôtel de Ville in Épernay provides a sumptuous backdrop for this prestigious evening. Located just steps from the Avenue de Champagne, a UNESCO World Heritage site since 2015, it overlooks the cellars of the greatest Champagne houses.
