FAIR: Le Tour — Tomorrow's talents in Laval

FAIR (Fonds d'Action et d'Initiative Rock) is one of the oldest and most prestigious support programs for emerging artists in France. Created in 1989 by the Ministry of Culture, it has supported over 35 years more than 500 artists, including Pomme, La Femme, Terrenoire, Bigflo & Oli, Christine and the Queens, and Stromae.

The Tour Principle

Each year, FAIR selects a group of young artists representing the diversity of French contemporary music. To support these talents, FAIR organizes Le Tour, a national tour during which the laureates perform in partner venues across the country:

• Each participating venue programs a concert with FAIR-labeled artists.
• The programming includes at least one artist from the latest group.
• The concerts allow artists to engage with diverse audiences and develop their stage presence.

Le 6PAR4: The Mayenne Stage

In Laval, Le 6PAR4, a Contemporary Music Venue (SMAC) labeled by the Ministry of Culture since 2015, hosts the Mayenne stage of FAIR: Le Tour. This 330-seat venue is a major player in the musical life of Mayenne, with four main missions:

• Diffusion of contemporary music concerts.
• Support for artistic creation at the departmental, regional, and national levels.
• Support for local practices and initiatives.
• Cultural action and artistic education.
