Felletin Book Fair

The third literary fair in Limousin

Created in 1997, the Felletin Book Fair has become in nearly thirty years the largest literary fair in Creuse and the third in Limousin, after the fairs in Brive and Limoges. Every August, around a hundred authors, publishers, and book professionals — including illustrators, comic artists, a bookbinder, and photographers — gather at the Felletin gymnasium for a day dedicated to the pleasure of reading.

Meetings, signings, and exchanges

The Book Fair offers a rich program: signing sessions, meetings with authors, round tables, and conferences around a theme that changes each year. Admission is free, allowing all audiences to discover the latest releases and interact directly with writers. A children's literature area under a tent welcomes young readers.

A reference event in Creuse

With over 7,000 visitors each year, the Felletin Book Fair confirms its status as a major cultural event in Creuse. The 28th edition in 2025 hosted a hundred authors and publishers, with for the first time a large area dedicated to children's literature under a tent in Place Monthioux. Prestigious conferences complete the program.
