Royat-Chamalières Book Fair

A literary event in the heart of the spa town

The Royat-Chamalières Book Fair is a major literary event in Puy-de-Dôme held every year on the first weekend of October at the Casino de Royat. Created in 2014 by the association "À Lire Des Auteurs", the fair has established itself as an unmissable event for book lovers in the Clermont-Ferrand area.

About fifty authors invited

Each edition hosts around 50 authors covering all literary genres: novels, essays, children's literature, comics, thrillers, science fiction, and poetry. Visitors can meet the authors, get their books signed, and participate in privileged exchanges in the elegant setting of the Casino de Royat.

A rich and varied program

The fair offers a complete program:

• Book signing sessions with all invited authors over the two days.
• Readings and author conversations at the Grand Théâtre of the Casino.

A partnership with local bookstores

The fair is co-organized with two partner bookstores: Librairie Les Volcans in Clermont-Ferrand and the bookstore Les Raconteurs d'Histoires in Chamalières. This partnership guarantees a selection of quality authors and a diverse publishing offer for the greatest pleasure of readers.
