Festi'Rue Decize — edition 2026
The 20th edition of Festi'Rue takes place on September 12th and 13th, 2026, in the streets of Decize, preceded on Friday the 11th by two concerts hosted by the City of Decize. 14 professional companies and music groups will perform across four locations in the town center, featuring street theater, close-up magic, circus acts, brass bands, a mobile piano, fire shows, children's workshops, and pop-rock concerts, all free of charge.

Festi'Rue is celebrating its twentieth anniversary. Since 2006, the Les Platanes Socio-Cultural Center has coordinated this free street arts festival: about fifteen people work on it year-round, joined by sixty volunteers over the weekend, totaling over 2,000 hours of volunteer work per edition according to the official program.
For this anniversary, 14 professional companies and music groups will perform at four town center locations: Place de la Mairie, Place Hanoteau, Place Saint-Just, and Rue de la République. Street theater, close-up magic, circus, dance, brass bands, fire shows, children's workshops, and pop-rock concerts will run from Saturday at 2:00 PM to Sunday at 7:10 PM.
On Friday, September 11th, two concerts will kick off the weekend at Place Saint-Just: Cie Pestac with "Petits Tubes" at 8:00 PM, followed by Les Manchots at 9:00 PM. These two events are organized by the City of Decize as part of "Decize en scène".

Practical Information
Access and Transport
By car: Decize is located 35 km south of Nevers, accessible via the N81. Free parking in town and on the outskirts of the historic center. The town is located at the confluence of the Loire and Aron rivers.
By train: Decize station is served by TER trains from Nevers (20 min) and Moulins. The station is a few minutes' walk from the town center where the festival takes place.
By bike: Decize is crossed by EuroVelo 6, a cycle route along the Loire River.
Festival Location
The shows take place in the streets and squares of Decize's town center. The island nature of the town (surrounded by the Loire and Aron rivers) creates an original setting for street performances.
