Festi-Théâtre: A Solidarity and Friendly Festival

Every winter, the SOLIDD association (Solidarity and Sustainable Development) organizes its traditional Festi-Théâtre in L'Isle-sur-le-Doubs. This amateur theatre festival has become a must-attend event in local cultural life, attracting a loyal audience eager to discover the talents of regional troupes.

A Rich Program of Comedies and Creations

Festi-Théâtre takes place over several weekends in February and March, usually with four performances scheduled. Amateur theatre troupes from the Doubs and neighboring departments take turns on stage to present comedies, revisited classic plays, and original creations. The festival highlights the dynamism and creativity of amateur theatre in Franche-Comté.

Regional Troupes in the Spotlight

Among the regularly invited companies are the Tréteaux des Combes de Voujeaucourt, who presented "Vivement les vacances," a comedy in nine sketches where a rural school becomes the playground for the most quirky characters. Other troupes from the Doubs and Franche-Comté participate each year in this eclectic and entertaining program.

A Commitment to Solidarity

Festi-Théâtre stands out for its solidarity dimension. The SOLIDD association, which organizes the festival, aims to help developing countries, particularly Mali. The proceeds from the performances are entirely donated to humanitarian and sustainable development projects, making each show an act of solidarity.

Affordable Prices

Prices are deliberately affordable to allow as many people as possible to enjoy the shows: 8 euros for adults and 4 euros for children under 12. A 4-show pass is available for 28 euros, encouraging the public to follow the entire program.
