Festiv'Alléla: Music, Circus, and Values of Sharing
Since 2014, Festiv'Alléla has brought together a loyal and enthusiastic audience every second weekend of June on the Chemin de Seganges in Avermes, a commune bordering Moulins, the prefecture of Allier. Driven by the association Alléla, this free-pricing festival embodies strong values of conviviality, sharing, and cultural accessibility.
An Eclectic Musical Program
The hallmark of Festiv'Alléla lies in its skillful blend of local bands and national artists, with varied musical styles that attract a wide audience. Rock, ska, punk, dub, French chanson, world music: each edition offers a diverse and surprising lineup. Over the years, the festival has hosted bands like Dubamix, Los[K]soS, Mirkadub, Les Colporteurs de Rêves, and Dégage si ça t'gène, alongside the house band Alléla Family, which traditionally opens the festivities.
Circus, Shows, and Activities
Festiv'Alléla is not limited to music. The festival gives prominence to circus arts and live performances, particularly on Saturday afternoons with a program designed for families. Participatory workshops, stands by local artisans, and games and activities for children complete the program, making this weekend a true moment of collective life.
Memorable Themed Editions
Each edition of Festiv'Alléla revolves around a festive theme that sets the tone for the decoration and atmosphere. The 2023 edition, titled "Ragna-Röck Party", immersed festival-goers in a Viking universe, while the 10th edition in 2024 celebrated the Roaring Twenties of the 1920s-1930s with a Prohibition theme. These themes contribute to the festival's unique identity and create an immersive and playful atmosphere.
A Festival Accessible to All
Accessibility is at the heart of the Festiv'Alléla project. Entry is at free pricing, allowing everyone to contribute according to their means. Parking and camping are free, enabling festival-goers to fully enjoy the weekend without logistical constraints. The sound system, managed by the Hors2Low team, ensures professional sound quality, while the VTM team animates a performance tent throughout the weekend.
