The festival that combines music and conviviality in Benquet
Founded in 2002 in Benquet, near Mont-de-Marsan, the Atout Cœurs Festival has become a true cultural pillar of the Marsan region. Born from the desire to unite local associations and revitalize the village, this spring festival offers four days of eclectic concerts each year, blending pop, rock, electro, rap, and French chanson. With over 8,000 spectators and around 200 volunteers mobilized, Atout Cœurs embodies the festive and supportive spirit of the Landes, in a warm and family-friendly atmosphere.
Since 2002, the Atout Cœurs Festival has enlivened the village of Benquet, on the outskirts of Mont-de-Marsan, for four days of celebration and music. Born from the desire to bring local associations together around a unifying cultural project, this festival has become, over the editions, a must-attend event in the Landes calendar, attracting a loyal and curious audience from all over the Nouvelle-Aquitaine region.
The strength of Atout Cœurs lies in the diversity of its programming. Each edition mixes musical genres — pop, rock, electro, rap, gospel, French chanson — with national headliners and emerging artists. In 2024, the group Kyo electrified the main stage, while the 2025 edition hosted Superbus, a flagship group of the 2000s, alongside bands like Soulshine Voices, B Fonk, Hugo Ostro, and Kosma.
Beyond the concerts, the festival offers a rich program of activities: street performances for children, an open stage for amateur artists, a bodega with DJ sets, a choral mass on Ascension Day, and country aperitifs. Schoolchildren from the agglomeration also benefit from dedicated performances, making Atout Cœurs a truly intergenerational event.
With around 200 volunteers mobilized each year, the Atout Cœurs Festival is above all a human adventure. Associations from Benquet and neighboring towns take turns ensuring reception, catering, logistics, and entertainment in the various areas. This participatory dimension is at the heart of the festival's identity, placing conviviality and social connection on the same level as artistic excellence.
Located in the heart of the village of Benquet, the festival takes over several venues: the main tent for major concerts, the church for acoustic moments, the municipal hall for intimate performances, and the bodega for festive evenings. This occupation of public space transforms the village into a large living area for four days, strengthening the sense of belonging and local pride.
The 24th edition of the Atout Cœurs Festival will be held from May 12 to 15, 2026 in Benquet. The festival will continue its mission to bring the village together for four days of eclectic music and conviviality.
