For nearly thirty years, the Bruissements d'Elles festival has established itself as a major cultural event in Indre-et-Loire, dedicated to highlighting the female artist in all her facets. Every March, in resonance with International Women's Rights Day on March 8th, the festival unfolds its program in about twenty venues across Tours and the Tours metropolitan area.

About twenty venues spread across Tours and the metropolitan communes host the events: the Espace Jacques Villeret in Tours, L'Escale in Saint-Cyr-sur-Loire, Oésia in Notre-Dame-d'Oé, the Espace Ligéria in Montlouis-sur-Loire, La Pléiade in La Riche, libraries, galleries, and other cultural spaces.
