The tenth and final edition of the Festival de la Blanche et du Bès was held on September 7 and 8, 2007, at the Maison des Jeunes in Seyne-les-Alpes, marking the end of a ten-year human and cultural adventure in the valley.
Musical lineup
On Friday, September 7, the evening began at 7:30 PM with Café Bertrand, a festive French chanson group, followed by percussionist Guem, a key figure in African rhythms and world percussion. On Saturday, September 8, starting at 9:00 PM, the audience enjoyed discovering Lhi Jarris, Toma Sidibé, a Malian artist blending traditional Mandinka music with contemporary sounds, and the brass band Wonderbrass, a brass and festive ensemble that closed the festival in an unforgettable party atmosphere.
An emotional tenth anniversary
This anniversary edition brought together the festival's loyal fans to celebrate ten years of music, sharing, and conviviality in the heart of the Alpes-de-Haute-Provence. The volunteers of AJBBET offered the public a final evening worthy of the commitment that had driven the festival since its creation in 1998.
