The fourth edition of the Festival du Jeu de Montargis takes place on October 24th and 25th, 2026, at the Complexe Sportif et Culturel du Château Blanc in Villemandeur. Nearly 2,000 visitors are expected for this free weekend dedicated to board games, role-playing games, miniatures, and trading cards, featuring publishers like Gigamic, Libellud, Cocktail Games, and Asmodee, along with tournaments, a raffle, and a second-hand game market.
4th Edition — 2026
On October 24th and 25th, 2026, the fourth edition of the Festival du Jeu de Montargis will once again take over the 2,000 m² of the Complexe Sportif et Culturel du Château Blanc in Villemandeur. Nearly 2,000 visitors are expected, following the 1,600 who attended the third edition in 2025. The program includes approximately 150 tables for board games, role-playing games, miniatures, and trading cards, as well as tournaments, a raffle, meetings with publishers and game designers, and a dedicated second-hand game market.
From 2:00 PM to 9:00 PM on Saturday and 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Sunday, players of all ages can discover the latest releases, join guided gaming sessions, and enjoy refreshments at the on-site DiaboloBar. Several publishers have been confirmed for this edition: Gigamic (Verso, Bellevue Le Baron, Miroir Magique), Plus Plus, Tiki Editions (Double Seven, Happy Letters), Libellud (Take Time), Cocktail Games (Twin it tournaments), Border Line (Apex), MJ Games (D-Code), Musoka Studio (Brokies, Flea Market), and Asmodee (selection to be announced in late September).
Admission remains free (donations welcome); an optional paid VIP pass (€3 or €10) provides early access starting at 10:30 AM on Saturday, entry to the late-night session until 11:00 PM, and additional perks for the raffle and catering.

Access and Transport
By Car: Villemandeur is located on the outskirts of Montargis, accessible via the A77 (Montargis exit). The Complexe Sportif et Culturel du Château Blanc is at 85 Rue de la Pontonnerie, 45700 Villemandeur. Free parking on site.
By Train: Montargis station is served by TER Centre-Val de Loire and Transilien (line R from Paris-Gare de Lyon). The complex is a 15-minute walk from the station.

Festival du Jeu de Montargis: The Game Festival in Gâtinais
Since 2023, the Festival du Jeu de Montargis has brought together enthusiasts of board games, role-playing games, miniatures, and collectible card games every autumn at the Complexe Sportif et Culturel du Château Blanc in Villemandeur, on the outskirts of Montargis. Organized by the association Le DiaboloBus, a well-known traveling game library in the Montargis region, this free festival has quickly become a must-attend event for gaming culture in the Loiret department and the Centre-Val de Loire region.
2,000 m² Dedicated to Games in All Forms
The festival takes over the 2,000 m² of the sports complex to offer an exceptional gaming space. Nearly 150 tables are available for visitors to discover and try out the latest releases in board games, as well as rediscover great classics, traditional games, and wooden games. Volunteer facilitators are present to explain the rules and assist both beginner and experienced players.
