About Écran Total
An engaged film festival for over 20 years
The Festival Écran Total was born in October 2001, from the desire to promote the diversity of cinema and to support auteur films and art-house cinemas in the Grenoble metropolitan area. Initially led by TTi, then taken over by the association Les CE Tissent la Toile, the festival has established itself over the years as an essential cinephile event in Isère.
A demanding and friendly program
Each edition offers a demanding and varied selection of films, chosen by a collective of enthusiasts. The program mixes previews, national releases, revivals of notable films, and film-concerts, all followed by debates with directors and film professionals. The goal is to create a meeting space between cinephiles and the general public in a festive and friendly atmosphere.
A traveling festival in art-house cinemas
The Festival Écran Total has the unique feature of changing its host venue each year, touring the AcrirA cinema network in the Grenoble metropolitan area. This traveling nature helps to showcase the territory's art-house cinemas and reach new audiences. The festival also unfolds through satellite events such as the Jeudis d'Écran Total at Mon Ciné in Saint-Martin-d'Hères and the Printemps d'Écran Total at Cinéma Paradiso in Tullins.
A network of committed partners
The festival relies on a strong network of partners: the association Savatou, the network of art-house cinemas AcrirA, works councils, and socio-cultural structures. This collective dynamic makes it possible to offer a quality program while making auteur cinema accessible to the greatest number of people.

24th edition of the Festival Écran Total, from November 13 to 16, 2026 at La Vence Scène in Saint-Égrève. Four days of auteur cinema, previews, and meetings with directors in the Grenoble metropolitan area.
The 24th edition at La Vence Scène in Saint-Égrève
The 24th edition of the Festival Écran Total will take place from November 13 to 16, 2026. True to its itinerant principle, this year the festival sets up at La Vence Scène, in Saint-Égrève, in the Grenoble metropolitan area, after a 23rd edition organized in November 2025 at Mon Ciné in Saint-Martin-d'Hères and in partner venues.
For four days, the festival offers previews, auteur films, documentaries, screenings for family audiences, and meetings with directors and partner associations, in the spirit of art house cinema championed by the AcrirA network.
The detailed program for the 2026 edition will be announced closer to the festival on the website of the association Les CE Tissent la Toile. In addition, the Printemps d'Écran Total (Total Screen Spring) is held in March in several venues of the network, and special screenings are organized throughout the year.

Location (2026 edition)
La Vence Scène, in Saint-Égrève (38120), in the Grenoble metropolitan area. As the festival is itinerant, the main venue changes each year within the network of partner venues (Mon Ciné in Saint-Martin-d'Hères, l'Espace Aragon in Villard-Bonnot, Le Jeu de Paume in Vizille…).

Bookings
Tickets can be booked directly with the host venue or online on the festival's website. A ticketing service is also reserved for partner CSEs.
Access
Saint-Égrève is served from Grenoble by the metropolitan public transport (M Tag bus lines) and by Saint-Égrève train station. Parking is available near La Vence Scène.
Satellite Events
The festival also offers the Printemps d'Écran Total in March in several venues of the network, as well as special screenings organized throughout the year.
