The electro festival of western Paris, birthplace of the French Touch
The ElectroChic Festival is the electro event of western Paris. For two weeks in March, concerts, DJ sets, and musical encounters take over the venues and cultural spaces of Versailles and the communes of Versailles Grand Parc. Created in 2017, this territorial festival celebrates electronic music in all its diversity, from house to techno, from ambient to experimental music, in the lands that saw the birth of the pioneers of the French Touch — Air, Phoenix, and their heirs. Supported by L'Onde de Vélizy-Villacoublay and the city of Versailles, ElectroChic irrigates nine communes with an eclectic and accessible program.
The Festival ElectroChic draws its identity from a unique territory: western Paris, the birthplace of the French Touch. It was in Versailles and its surroundings that Air, Phoenix, and a whole generation of electronic musicians forged a sound that conquered the world in the 1990s. ElectroChic pays homage to this heritage while exploring the new frontiers of electronic music, from organic house to experimental techno, from contemplative ambient to audiovisual performances.
One of ElectroChic's unique features is its territorial anchoring. The festival unfolds across nine communes of the Versailles Grand Parc agglomeration community: Versailles, Vélizy-Villacoublay, Bailly, Bois-d'Arcy, Chaville, Fontenay-le-Fleury, Jouy-en-Josas, Saint-Cyr-l'École, and Viroflay. Performance halls, media libraries, cultural centers, and unusual venues host a rich and varied program, creating a unique cultural network that irrigates the entire territory.
For two weeks, ElectroChic offers a dense program combining concerts by international artists and emerging talents, DJ sets in intimate or festive settings, cine-concerts blending cinema and live electronic music, sound creation workshops, and conferences on the history and future of electronic music. The festival is aimed at both enthusiasts and the curious, with offerings accessible to all audiences, including young audiences thanks to collaborations with the Baz'arts des Mômes festival.
The Festival ElectroChic is supported by L'Onde, Theatre and Art Center of Vélizy-Villacoublay, in partnership with the city of Versailles and the Versailles Grand Parc agglomeration community. This collaboration between cultural institutions and local authorities allows the festival to offer an ambitious program while maintaining accessible prices. L'Onde, a recognized conventioned stage for its commitment to contemporary creation, brings its artistic expertise and production capacity.
The 10th edition of the ElectroChic Festival takes place from March 17 to 28, 2026, in the communes of Versailles Grand Parc: Versailles, Vélizy-Villacoublay, Bailly, Bois-d'Arcy, Chaville, Fontenay-le-Fleury, Jouy-en-Josas, Saint-Cyr-l'École, and Viroflay. Two weeks of concerts, DJ sets, and musical encounters for this anniversary edition.
The festival takes place in nine communes of Versailles Grand Parc. The venues are accessible by public transport (RER C, Transilien L and N, bus) and by car. The detailed program specifies the addresses and access for each event.
Prices vary depending on the events. Some offerings are free. Tickets available on the festival website and on the partner venues' websites.
