En Quêt'd'Ailleurs Festival

World Music on the Doorstep of Dijon

Created by the Cultural Service of the City of Quetigny, the En Quêt'd'Ailleurs festival is a celebration of world music and cultures that animates the media library district and the green spaces of Quetigny, a town in the Dijon metropolitan area, every year. For several days around the Fête de la Musique (June 21st), the festival offers a rich and eclectic program combining concerts, street performances, and intercultural encounters.

Concerts, Workshops, and Performances

The musical program showcases world music in all its diversity: African, Latin American, Oriental, Celtic, and mixed-genre music. Discovery workshops — percussion, dance, world cuisine — allow the public to learn new practices. Musical readings, street performances, and activities for children complete the program in a festive and family-friendly atmosphere.

A Free and Friendly Festival

Open to all and entirely free, En Quêt'd'Ailleurs brings together the residents of Quetigny and the Dijon metropolitan area around the values of sharing, discovery, and cultural openness. The open-air concerts on the Mendès-France grounds and the activities at La Parenthèse (cultural space) offer a pleasant setting for these festive days.
