The back-to-school festival on campus

Novosonic is the major musical event of the back-to-school season on the Dijon campus of the University of Burgundy. For over twenty years, this free festival has brought together students and the general public for concerts by emerging regional bands. The event is organized by the Atheneum, the university's cultural center, which uses live music as a vector for meeting and celebration.

A springboard for emerging artists

Novosonic's unique feature is giving a stage to up-and-coming artists. More than fifteen regional bands perform at each edition, offering a unique showcase for emerging talent from Bourgogne-Franche-Comté. Rock, electro, rap, techno: all current music genres are represented, reflecting the diversity of the local music scene.

A unifying and free event

Novosonic is a completely free festival, open to all. It contributes to the vibrancy of student and cultural life on campus, creating a moment of collective celebration that marks the start of the academic year. The concerts take place outdoors and indoors, in a friendly and festive atmosphere.
