About Tribu Festival
Tribu Festival — edition 2026
The Tribu Festival takes place in Dijon from September 29th to October 4th, 2026, featuring nine events across the Consortium Museum, La Vapeur, the Auditorium, the Eldorado cinema, and Place François Rude. The lineup includes the Occitan duo Cocanha, the Afro-Cuban collective El Comité with Yilian Canizares, the Francis Bebey tribute "C'est Francis, BB !", Lisbon-based artists Xexa and DJ Lycox, and Syrian musician Rizan Saïd. Three concerts are free of charge.
2026 Edition
From September 29th to October 4th, 2026, the Tribu Festival will unfold across five Dijon venues: the Eldorado cinema, Place François Rude, La Vapeur, the Auditorium, and the Consortium Museum. The program includes six ticketed events and three free ones.
Artistic director Frédéric Ménard has framed this edition around a quote by Édouard Glissant: "Act in your place, think with the world." The performances range from the Occitan singing of Cocanha to the Afro-Cuban jazz of El Comité, and from the Egyptian sounds of Zerzura to the Lisbon batida of Xexa and DJ Lycox.
The festival is organized by Zutique Productions in partnership with the Consortium Museum, La Vapeur, the Opéra de Dijon, and the Eldorado cinema. All venues are accessible to people with reduced mobility.

A world music festival in Dijon
Tribu Festival is held every autumn by Zutique Productions, a Dijon-based association founded in 1996. The event takes place across several venues in the city—including La Vapeur, the Consortium Museum, the Auditorium, the Eldorado cinema, and Place François Rude—featuring concerts, original creations, and artist meet-and-greets. Many of the events are free to attend.
Tradition meets contemporary sounds
The program blends traditional repertoires with modern music: from Occitan singing and Afro-Cuban jazz to Syrian or Portuguese electronic music, Malian griot vocals, and street brass bands.
Zutique Productions
The association also organizes urban art events in Dijon (Banana Pschit, Le M.U.R Dijon), has managed the cultural space Au Maquis since 2022, and leads cultural initiatives in the Grésilles neighborhood and throughout the metropolitan area. They also run the Ze Tribu Brass Band, a community band launched by the festival in 2010 that is open to everyone aged 6 and up.
