The international adventure film festival in Dijon
Created in 1992 by La Guilde and the city of Dijon, Les Écrans de l'Aventure is the first and most important adventure film festival in France. For a week every autumn, the festival screens the best adventure documentaries and films from around the world, highlighting extraordinary explorations, sporting challenges, and human encounters.
Beyond the screenings, Les Écrans de l'Aventure is a privileged meeting place between the public and adventurers, explorers, mountaineers, sailors, and directors. Conferences, debates, and signing sessions allow for exchanges with these personalities who push the boundaries of human exploration.
Each edition rewards the best productions in various categories: Grand Prix, Audience Award, Best Cinematography Award, Adventure Book Award. The Les Écrans de l'Aventure awards are a benchmark in the world of documentary and adventure film.
Les Écrans de l'Aventure returns from September 30 to October 4, 2026, for its 35th edition. Adventure films, meetings with explorers, and an awards ceremony are on the program.
The Les Écrans de l'Aventure festival takes place in several locations in the center of Dijon: the Cinéma Olympia (16 avenue Foch, 21000 Dijon), the Cinéma Le Darcy (10 place Darcy, 21000 Dijon) and the Cellier de Clairvaux (27 boulevard de la Trémouille, 21000 Dijon) for meetings, exhibitions and round tables.
Ticket price per screening: €6.50 (full) / €4.50 (reduced). 5-screening and 10-screening passes are also available. Online ticketing on the official website.
