This is the bold and successful gamble of the Jacques Fromage Festival, which has established itself as one of the essential events on the Parisian electronic scene. Since its beginnings, the festival has taken over the Hippodrome d'Enghien in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, an exceptional site located just 17 minutes from Gare du Nord via line H of the Transilien.

At the helm is Jacques Fromage, an emblematic figure in the Parisian electronic scene, producer, DJ, and now festival organizer. His vision is clear: to offer a total experience where high-intensity electronic music meets humor, conviviality, and a unique visual and culinary identity. The result is a festival that exists nowhere else in France.

A 12-hour electronic marathon

The format of the Jacques Fromage Festival is designed for electronic music enthusiasts who don't want to compromise. 12 hours non-stop, from noon to midnight, with a carefully curated program to take festival-goers on a complete sonic journey. The genres represented cover a wide spectrum of danceable electronic music: industrial and Berlin techno, hypnotic trance, pounding hardgroove, and energetic drum and bass.

The 2025 edition, held on Saturday, November 22nd, at the Hippodrome de Soisy-Enghien, brought together no less than 19 artists spread across 3 XXL covered and heated stages. This ambitious stage setup allows festival-goers to move freely from one atmosphere to another, discovering different sonic universes throughout the day. In 2026, the format is extended to two days and 35 artists, confirming the festival's growing momentum.

The Jacques Fromage Arena: entertainment and cheese

What truly sets the Jacques Fromage Festival apart from all other electronic events is the entertainment space that accompanies the music. The Jacques Fromage Arena is the festive and wild heart of the event: over 20 free activities are offered, ranging from rides to tastings and sports and fun activities. It features the giant obstacle course — presented as the largest in France — which allows festival-goers to burn energy between sets.

And of course, there's the cheese. Melted cheese tastings are free and distributed throughout the day, becoming a true festival tradition. Raclette, fondue, and other cheese specialties are offered by the 6 food trucks on site, with prices designed to remain accessible. This quirky gastronomic dimension gives the festival an absolutely unique identity in the French festival landscape.

Accessibility designed for the general public

The Hippodrome d'Enghien is located at Place André Foulon in Soisy-sous-Montmorency, in the Val-d'Oise. Its proximity to Paris — 17 minutes from Gare du Nord via line H, stop Champ de Course d'Enghien — makes it easily accessible without a car. The site also offers ample parking for those coming by car. The entire site is covered and heated, allowing the festival to be held in all seasons, even in autumn and winter, without affecting the comfort of festival-goers.
