The L'Échez Musical Festival is a vocal music festival created in 2008 in Bordères-sur-l'Échez, near Tarbes. Born around gospel with the choir Poly'Sons de Tarbes, the event has expanded since 2015 to include vocal polyphony, jazz, and cabaret. Organized by the association Asso6sons and the Municipality of Bordères-sur-l'Échez, this three-day festival in April features concerts by vocal groups, accompanied or a cappella, in the R. Paul multipurpose hall and the village church.

L'Échez Musical: Voice in the Spotlight in Bigorre
Since 2008, the L'Échez Musical Festival has been making voices resonate in Bordères-sur-l'Échez, a neighboring town of Tarbes. Born from the initiative of the choir Poly'Sons, this festival has become a must-attend event for vocal music lovers in Bigorre.
From Gospel to Vocal Polyphony
Originally created around gospel, the festival has expanded its programming since 2015 to encompass all forms of vocal polyphony. The program brings together groups of various styles: vocal jazz, cabaret, gospel, a cappella, vocal pop-rock, and bluegrass. The invited ensembles, accompanied or not, offer a rich panorama of contemporary vocal creation.
Intimate Venues
The concerts take place in two complementary venues: the R. Paul multipurpose hall for the main concerts and the church of Bordères-sur-l'Échez for special acoustic moments. This dual location offers contrasting atmospheres and exceptional proximity to the artists.
