The international freeride film festival born in Cauterets
Born in Cauterets in 2005, the International Freeride Film Festival has established itself as a major cultural and artistic event dedicated to mountain and extreme sports cinema. The festival aims to promote the recognition and discovery of the artistic quality of freeride ski and snowboard films.
Each edition presents the best productions and achievements of the year from around the world. A jury composed of personalities from the world of mountains and imagery awards six prizes during the closing ceremony. The festival is completely free and open to all.
After its first editions in Saint-Lary and then Cauterets, the festival has settled in the valley, at the Parc des Expositions de Tarbes, to welcome an ever-growing audience. In parallel with the screenings, a ski and snow sports sale allows visitors to equip themselves for the season.
