The full program for this 4th edition has not yet been released. It will be announced by the organizers on lesdragoniales.fr and their social media channels.
What is confirmed so far: the event will be open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on Saturday, November 14th, and Sunday, November 15th, 2026, at the Centre d'Animation in Aire-sur-l'Adour. Visitors can look forward to around forty exhibitors—including authors, illustrators, specialized publishers, and craftspeople—as well as the festival's hallmark cosplay competition.

Accessing the festival
Location
The 4th edition is held at the Centre d'Animation, rue du Jardin Public, 40800 Aire-sur-l'Adour. The venue hosts the exhibitor stalls, the cosplay contest stage, and various activity areas.
By car
Aire-sur-l'Adour is located in the eastern part of the Landes, on the Adour river, bordering the Gers and Pyrénées-Atlantiques departments. The town is served by the A65 motorway (Langon-Pau), which has two exits in the municipality: exit 6 (Aire-sur-l'Adour North) and exit 7 (Aire-sur-l'Adour South). It is also accessible via the D824 between Mont-de-Marsan and Pau.
Opening hours
The festival takes place over a weekend in November, on November 14th and 15th, 2026. Doors open from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM on both days.
Tickets
Admission is €2 per person, and free for children under 8 years old. The ticket grants access to the entire festival and all its activities.
Food and drink
A catering area is available on-site, offering snacks as well as hot and cold drinks.
Additional information
- Cosplay is highly encouraged: come in costume and take part in the contest.
- The event is accessible to people with reduced mobility.
- A cloakroom is available for cosplayers who wish to change on-site.

Les Dragoniales: Where imagination comes to life in the Landes
Les Dragoniales is the first fantasy and speculative fiction festival created in the Landes department. Born in 2023 in Rion-des-Landes from the passion of a volunteer team, this event quickly found its audience and established itself as a must-attend gathering for fans of fantasy, science fiction, steampunk, manga, and geek culture in Southwestern France.
A festival rich in exhibitors and discoveries
Each edition of Les Dragoniales brings together around forty exhibitors. Visitors can meet authors of fantasy, science fiction, and speculative literature, illustrators with fascinating graphic styles, specialized publishers, and artisan creators offering jewelry, decorative weapons, costumes, figurines, and art objects inspired by fantastic worlds.
The grand cosplay contest
A highlight of the festival, the cosplay contest brings together participants of all levels who compete with creativity to embody their favorite characters from fantasy, cinema, manga, and video games. From Stormtroopers to Vikings, and Hobbits to medieval knights, the parade offers a colorful spectacle.
Activities for everyone
Beyond cosplay, Les Dragoniales offers numerous activities: role-playing game sessions, medieval combat demonstrations, creative workshops, quizzes, and themed games. Book signing sessions provide a chance to meet the authors and illustrators in person.
Kiyu, the mascot of Les Dragoniales
The festival is embodied by Kiyu, a mascot that accompanies every edition and unites the fan community. Kiyu appears on promotional materials, merchandise, and festival activities.
A traveling festival across the Landes
Since its inception in Rion-des-Landes on November 18th and 19th, 2023, the festival has toured the department: the Salle Polyvalente in Tartas in November 2025, followed by the Centre d'Animation in Aire-sur-l'Adour for the 4th edition on November 14th and 15th, 2026. The association has also expanded its programming with a Speculative Fiction Book Fair and themed cinema nights gathered under the name "La Nuit du Fantastique".
