A book fair open to all literary genres

Beaupuy se Livre is a generalist book fair that stands out for the diversity of genres represented. Novels, crime and noir novels, essays, children's and youth literature, heritage literature, science fiction, and fantasy: the event offers a wide literary palette to meet the diversity of audiences. Each edition hosts about thirty authors, invited by the association Kit Culture in partnership with ADEL 47 (Association of Authors, Publishers, and Readers of Lot-et-Garonne) and publishing houses such as Jacques André Éditeur, Agullo editions, or Cairn editions.

A rich program of meetings and activities

The fair unfolds over two intense days at the Collinéum Pascal Laperche and the Bellothèque in Beaupuy. The program includes:

• Book signing sessions with all present authors
• Meetings and exchanges between authors and readers about literary creation
• Round tables and debates on themes renewed each year
• Creative workshops and activities for all ages, from 7 years old
• Crossed readings and public readings offered
• Exhibition of paintings and works related to the edition's theme
• A dictation for everyone, a fun and friendly moment

Educational actions in preparation

In the lead-up to the fair, educational interventions are conducted with over 1,000 students from the region. These actions aim to raise young people's awareness of reading and writing, and to prepare their visit to the fair for privileged encounters with authors.

An event rooted in the Lot-et-Garonne territory

Created in 2020 by the association Kit Culture, Beaupuy se Livre has quickly established itself as a must-attend literary event in Lot-et-Garonne. The fair benefits from the support of local partners, notably the bookstore Libellule and ADEL 47, who contribute to bringing the department's literary scene to life. Satellite events, such as the evening "Éloge de mon bar" in Castelnau-sur-Gupie, enrich the program and extend the fair's reach beyond Beaupuy.
