Edition 2025 — RenaissanceS
The 2025 edition of the Festival RenaissanceS did not take place. After 26 editions, the municipality of Bar-le-Duc decided to end the festival to renew the city's event offerings. A humor festival was organized in its place on June 27, 28, and 29, 2025.

End of the Festival RenaissanceS
After 26 editions and nearly three decades of existence, the Festival RenaissanceS has bid farewell. The municipality of Bar-le-Duc announced in early 2025 the end of the festival, believing that the event had lost its identity and attractiveness over the years. The configuration of the Ville Haute district, undergoing rehabilitation, also made organization more complex.
To replace RenaissanceS, the city launched a new Humor Festival, scheduled for June 27, 28, and 29, 2025, with shows spread between Place Reggio, the covered market, the Hôtel de Ville park, and the Gilles de Trèves college.
