Festival du Vivre-ensemble: Diversity as a Richness

Led by the Kaléidos collective, an anti-discrimination association founded by Sylvia Caron (facilitator of the Sexism Fresco and TEDx speaker), the Festival du Vivre-ensemble was born in June 2025 in Fleury-les-Aubrais. Its name echoes the kaleidoscope, a symbol of the beauty of multiple identities and their complementarity. The event brings together about fifteen committed volunteers and numerous associations from the Loiret region around a common goal: to help children and adults identify, understand, and deconstruct discrimination to reduce inequalities.

A Rich and Participatory Program

The festival is structured around three complementary spaces:

• Workshops and Round Table: Family workshops adapted to each age group (young children, 7-10 years old, teenagers, adults) for experimentation and discussion. Among the offerings: emotion cinema, moving debates, forum theater, philosophy café, privilege walk, feminism fresco, creative writing workshops, and sign language initiation. A round table delves into a societal issue, such as the perception of disability in public spaces.
• "Laugh Together" Evening: An inclusive stand-up comedy event focused on humor and sharing, celebrating living together in good spirits.
• Village Space: A meeting place with local associations committed to fighting discrimination, a thematic bookstore on living together, and a convivial food corner.

Workshops for All Ages

The festival offers specific activities for each audience:

• For children: Reading stories on inclusion, theater workshops exploring stereotypes, cooperative escape games, improvisation matches, and handisport courses with HandiSoutien45
• For teenagers: Privilege walk questioning fundamental rights, critical analysis of superhero narratives, "Toustes Ensemble" workshop on exclusion and inclusion mechanisms
• For adults: Parent café on non-violent parenting, feminism fresco with HF+ Centre-Val de Loire, "Voyage en 2030 glorieuses" imagining a sustainable society, workshops for reconnecting with nature and identifying personal resources

An Event Rooted in the Territory

The Festival du Vivre-ensemble is part of the associative network of the Loiret region and collaborates with numerous local partners. After a successful first edition at the Moule à Gaufres (creative business center) in Fleury-les-Aubrais, the festival aims to spread to other towns in the department, with editions planned in Montargis and Orléans. The Kaléidos collective also organizes discussion groups, sexism frescoes, and living together spaces throughout the year at partner festivals, extending the festival's spirit to daily life.
