The free and family summer event in Fleury-les-Aubrais
Since 2018, the Estivales de Fleury have enlivened the town of Fleury-les-Aubrais every summer for nearly a month, from mid-July to early August. Initially named "Les Estivales de Lamballe," this free municipal festival, open to all, has become the essential summer event in the Orléans metropolitan area.
Each edition offers an eclectic program designed for all audiences and ages. The festival unfolds in four weekly highlights:
The heart of the festival beats at the Parc de la Princesse de Lamballe, a large green space in the city center where concert and show stages are set up, along with a refreshment stand and food services. The festival also takes over the Maisons pour Tous (Jean-Vilar, Jean-Gabin, Jacques-Tati), the Jacobins Library, and the Jacobins Swimming Pool, thus reaching several neighborhoods in the city.
Awarded the COP Régionale label since 2025, the festival integrates an ecological transition approach: selective sorting, composting managed by Cycloposteurs, and promotion of soft mobility (tram line A, bus lines 4, 6, and 21, bicycle parking at Parc de Lamballe). This green dimension reinforces the popular and responsible purpose of the event.
Supported by the City of Fleury-les-Aubrais and its cultural partners, including Espace Culturel Marico, Les Estivales are the result of collaboration between municipal services, local associations, and artistic companies. With a fireworks display on July 14th to open the event and a dense program spanning several weeks, the festival attracts thousands of spectators each summer, including residents and visitors from the Orléans metropolitan area, fostering a spirit of sharing, free access, and conviviality.
Les Estivales de Fleury are returning for their ninth edition in the summer of 2026. The free and family-friendly festival will continue to liven up the summer evenings of Fleury-les-Aubrais with its eclectic program mixing concerts, street theater, open-air cinema, shows, and sports activities.
The full program will be announced in the spring of 2026 on the City of Fleury-les-Aubrais website.
