About Festillésime 41
Festillésime 41 is the performing arts initiative of the Loir-et-Cher Departmental Council, bringing over 120 shows and concerts each year to towns across the department, even the smallest ones. Events are organized by local town halls, community associations, and groups, with the Department covering half the costs. The program is released in two brochures—January to June and July to December—featuring theater, classical and early music, jazz, chanson, world music, street performance, circus, magic, and family-friendly shows.
Festillésime 41 — edition 2026
The Festillésime 41 brochure for July through December 2026 features 51 performances across 43 towns in the Loir-et-Cher region, running from Saturday, July 4th, to Sunday, December 6th. The program includes theater, classical and early music, jazz, chanson, world music, street performance, circus, magic, and shows for young audiences, held in village halls, churches, barns, and castle parks. Ticket prices range from free to €25, with two dinner-shows priced at €28 and €60.
Festillésime 41, July to December 2026 Season
The Loir-et-Cher Departmental Council publishes two Festillésime 41 brochures each year. This second-half 2026 edition brings together 51 shows in 43 towns, following the 48 shows held in 44 towns during the January to June season.
Who organizes what
Each event is managed by a local municipality, inter-municipal authority, or local association. They set the ticket prices, handle sales, and manage reservations, meaning the contact number varies for each performance. The Department funds half of the costs, including artist fees and technical expenses, and provides access to its curated catalog of artists.
Venues
Most performances take place in village halls, multi-purpose rooms, community centers, and local churches. Additional venues include the Grand Salon of the Château de Meslay, the tithe barn of the Commanderie d'Arville in Couëtron-au-Perche, the park of the Château de Villesavin in Tour-en-Sologne, the Musikenfête museum in Montoire-sur-le-Loir, the Maison du braconnage in Chaon, and the Château du Guérinet in Orchaise. Summer events are held outdoors, with an indoor backup venue announced in case of rain.

Venues
Shows are held in participating Loir-et-Cher towns, utilizing village halls, community centers, rural hubs, churches, barns, and castle courtyards or parks. The specific venue for each date is listed in the brochure.
Schedule
Two brochures are published annually: one from January to June and another from July to December. The second half of 2026 runs from July 4th to December 6th.
Pricing and Reservations
Each local organizer sets their own ticket prices and manages their own bookings; the contact number for each show is provided in the program. As local venues have limited capacity, booking in advance is recommended. Discounted rates generally apply to students, job seekers, social welfare recipients, large families, people with disabilities, and children.
Accessibility
The brochure includes an accessibility icon for people with reduced mobility for almost all events. It is missing for only two events in the second half of 2026: Ensemble Il Groviglio at the Château de Meslay and Lucy and the Daddies in Villebout.

Festillésime 41: Bringing the Performing Arts to Loir-et-Cher
Festillésime 41 is the program through which the Loir-et-Cher Departmental Council brings professional performances to local towns, including the smallest and most rural communities. More than 120 shows and concerts are held annually under the Festillésime 41 banner.
Support for Local Organizers
Events are hosted by municipalities, community groups, and local associations. The Department provides them with an annually updated catalog of artists, covers half of all costs—including artist fees and technical expenses—and supplies promotional materials. A Season in Two Brochures
The program is released in two installments: one brochure for January through June, and another for July through December. In 2026, the first half featured 48 shows across 44 towns, while the second half includes 51 shows in 43 towns.
