Monumental Tour: When Chambord Vibrates to the Rhythm of Electro
The Monumental Tour is a unique artistic concept created by DJ and producer Michael Canitrot, which fuses electronic music, historical heritage, and digital art. Since 2019, this touring show has graced the greatest monuments in France and Europe: the Eiffel Tower, Mont Saint-Michel, Notre-Dame de Paris, the Place Stanislas in Nancy, and the Basilica del Pilar in Zaragoza, reaching over 20 million viewers.
Chambord, a Renaissance Setting for a Future Show
In September 2025, the Monumental Tour vibrated the Château de Chambord, a masterpiece of the Renaissance and a jewel of UNESCO World Heritage. The monumental facade of the castle was transformed into a giant screen thanks to breathtaking video mapping, while Michael Canitrot set the stage ablaze with a powerful electro set, accompanied by an XXL light show illuminating the gardens and moats.
A Dialogue Between Stone and Music
The concept of the Monumental Tour is based on a dialogue between historical architecture and contemporary creation. The video projections tell the story of the monument, its legends, and its architecture, while the electronic music creates an immersive and emotional atmosphere. The Chambord show highlights the heritage of François I and the architectural secrets of the castle, in a staging that blends art, technology, and emotion.
A Commitment to Heritage
The Monumental Tour is placed under the auspices of the French National Commission for UNESCO and received the Coup de Cœur 2021 award from the Stéphane Bern Foundation for History and Heritage. In Chambord, part of the ticket revenue is donated to the restoration of the François I wing, a major project planned from 2026 to 2030 with an estimated cost of 25 million euros.
Food Trucks and Camaraderie
On-site, food trucks and drink stands welcome the public from the opening of the doors, creating a festive and friendly atmosphere in the estate's gardens. The show takes place outdoors, offering a unique experience under the stars, facing the illuminated facade of the castle.
An Exceptional Event in Loir-et-Cher
The arrival of the Monumental Tour in Chambord confirms the dynamism of the event scene in Loir-et-Cher and the ability of the Chambord National Estate to host major international cultural events, while respecting its exceptional heritage.
